A superior, in-house sheet metal facility equipped with best-in-class machinery & processes and manned by specialist personnel provides the full range of sheet metal fabrication products in multiple profiles and multiple materials.
Facilities include Stretch forming, laser cutting, CNC press brakes, CNC Turret Punch Press, Shearing machines, sawing machines roll bending machines and riveting. This facility is effectively complemented by a contemporary Wire Cut EDM.
Materials processed include Carbon Steel, Stainless Steels, Aluminium, Titanium, 15CdV6, Maraging Steel, Copper & Brass.

Profiles:

Apart from the conventional flat /angle bent profiles, special expertise has been developed and mastered for the production of ogival contoured sections in Titanium and Aluminium. These sections are produced as half skins on our proprietary stretch forming machine and riveted on fixtures and frames which are designed by the in-house design department.

Qualified Welders are available for welding of Aluminium Alloys, Titanium Alloys, Armoured Steels, Maraging Steel, 15CdV6, Special Grade Steels (for Naval Applications), Dissimilar Metal Welding and Stainless Steel.

Custimized Tooling and Fixturing, Positioners and Rotators available.

Clean room with humidity control, ISO8 (Class 100K).

NDT facilities like DP, MPI, Radiography and UT are available.

Airframe Division manufactures various types of riveted and welded airframe sections for aerospace vehicles using Aluminium Alloy and Titanium Alloy materials, ogival contoured riveted nose cones, cylindrical sections, wings, control surfaces and space frames are the main products of this division. SEC has established the technology of applying of Thermal Protection coating on airframe sections.
